We now have a history room.  Thanks to the fine craftsmanship of Tom Githens, we have two new bookcases.   All the history that we have collected in notebooks is available.

Our museum is open on Sundays and Wednesdays from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M.  Fees are: Adults $2, Seniors $1, and Students $1.   Members are free.

Pennsville Progress Newspapers


Salem County Historical Society now has the complete collection of 35 reels of microfilm of our Pennsville Newspaper.   Pennsville Township Historical Society donated $350 in memory of our deceased members to purchase the ten reels that were needed to complete this series.  The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 12 Noon to 4 P.M.

Grammar School Reunion Picnic

The Eighth Annual Deepwater and Pennsville Grammar school reunion picnic will be held Noon to 3 P.M.,  Wednesday, June 25 at Riverview Beach Park.  A bag lunch is available for $5.  To order a bag lunch, send payment to Dot Mahoney Bunting, 399 South Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070 by June 20.
